Liu Shuling (刘淑玲), övade Falun Gong, och var i slutet av sjuttioårsåldern. Hon kom från staden Zunyi i provinsen Guizhou och avled den 23 juni 2026, bara 27 dagar efter att hon hade avtjänat det femåriga fängelsestraffet på grund av sin tro.
Chen Yan, en 45-årig Falun Gong-utövare från Benxi i Liaoningprovinsen, avled den 8 november 2025 – bara tre dagar efter att ha anlänt till Liaoningprovinsens kvinnofängelse, för att avtjäna ett femårigt straff för sin övertygelse.
Liu Huiju, en 84-årig Falun Gong-utövare från staden Shuangyashan i provinsen Heilongjiang. Hon avled i Heilongjiangs kvinnofängelse den 7 maj 2026, nio månader efter det att myndigheterna fängslade henne.
Efter nyheten intervjuade Falun Dafa Information Center två nära vänner till fru Chen som bor i Nordamerika. De båda hoppas på fru Chens frigivning och att hon kommer hem så snart som möjligt. ”Jag kände Chen Zhongli när jag fortfarande var i Kina” sade Liu den 20 november. ”Hon är en lugn person med stark karaktär och integritet. Att se hur hon förs iväg och att hennes illegala gripande godkändes har gjort mig väldigt ledsen.”
Zhiwen Wang, en före detta kontaktperson för Falun Gong Forskningsinstitut och ett av de mest kända offren för det kinesiska kommunistpartiets (KKP) förföljelsekampanj mot Falun Gong, avled den 16 oktober på Beijing Shijitan-sjukhuset som är anslutet till Capital Medical University.

Mr. He Jingru, a 68-year-old resident of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, died on May 20, 2025, while being held in a psychiatric hospital, according to Minghui.org. In 2024, officers from the State Security Brigade of the Huidong County Public Security Bureau abducted him for practicing Falun Gong and sent him to a psychiatric hospital in Huizhou.
For over 25 years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been persecuting practitioners of Falun Gong. Chinese citizens who persevere in their faith or share information about Falun Gong or rights abuses face rampant detention, torture, and extrajudicial killings. Geneva, June 16, 2025 — A high-profile side event held during the 59th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council cast renewed international attention on the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) systematic persecution of religious groups—particularly the violent repression of Falun Gong practitioners and the ongoing practice of forced organ harvesting.
Mr. Yi Xiangyang (also known as Yin Xiangyang), a 76-year-old farmer from Liujia Village in Longkou City, Shandong Province, was admitted to Shandong Province Men’s Prison on June 11, 2025, according to Minghui.org and Weiquanwang.
