New Threats and Impersonations Target Falun Gong and U.S. Institutions (May 29 – June 17)

Between May 29 and June 17, multiple anonymous messages containing violent threats were sent to the Falun Dafa Information Center (FDIC) via its online contact forms. Written in Chinese and often using false identities—including impersonating Falun Gong practitioners, Falun Gong’s founder, and a Chinese defector—the messages targeted major U.S. institutions, including the White House, Shen Yun’s training campus in New York, and a military parade in Washington, D.C. Specifically: 

• On May 29, a message threatened to bomb the White House unless the U.S. stopped supporting Falun Gong. 
• On June 8, a second threat—impersonating Dr. Zheng Zhi, a former Chinese military doctor and prominent whistleblower on the CCP’s forced organ harvesting—threatened to bomb the Shen Yun campus in New York. 
• On June 14, a third message, posing as Falun Gong’s founder and used the email address of an Epoch Times editor. That message threatened a mass shooting and bombing at a D.C. parade by individuals disguised as Falun Gong practitioners. The message said:

“We will pretend to be Falun Gong disciples tomorrow, wearing your clothes, and after the military parade starts tomorrow, we will shoot and kill everyone in Washington, D.C., and throw bombs! Throw Molotov cocktails!”

These incidents bring the total of anonymous threats targeting or impersonating Falun Gong since March 2024 to 154. While no actual violence occurred, the threats reflect ongoing efforts to intimidate and discredit Falun Gong. All incidents have been reported to law enforcement and are under investigation.

Organ harvesting survivor faces second suspicious intrusion at home

On June 17, Cheng Peiming, the only known survivor of CCP-organ harvesting, reported a suspicious man attempting to approach his vehicle when it was parked at his home. After the alarm on his home security system was triggered, surveillance footage showed a suspicious Chinese man hiding his face and approaching Cheng’s vehicle before fleeing. The method matched repeated acts of vandalism against Cheng’s car. It was also the second suspicious incident at his home in New York. In November 2024, unknown individuals broke into his home at night. 

“The CCP wants to kill me,” Cheng told a news reporter. “Because I am the only living witness of the CCP’s forced organ harvesting.”
