Sixteen Schools in India Welcome Falun Dafa
Gayatri high school students do the fifth exercise of Falun Gong (Minghui)
From July to September this year, the air across Nagpur and its neighboring towns—alive with the celebrations of Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, and Independence Day—was filled with an added sense of serenity. Falun Dafa practitioners visited 16 schools across Nandanvan, Pauni, Kamptee, Mohpa, and surrounding areas to introduce the ancient Chinese meditation practice and its core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
More than 4,500 students, teachers, and staff participated in the sessions, learning the first, second, and fifth Falun Dafa exercises. The calm, rhythmic movements and meditative music brought moments of peace and focus to classrooms.

Many teachers and students expressed that the sessions helped them relax their minds, improve concentration, and release stress. They also learned about the persecution faced by Falun Dafa practitioners in China and expressed sympathy and support, with many signing petitions to call for an end to the suppression.
Teachers appreciate the positive impact
Educators across the 16 schools warmly welcomed Falun Dafa, saying the practice brought meaningful benefits to their students’ emotional and mental well-being.
Pawanbhumi, a teacher at Janata High School, shared,
“The students showed great enthusiasm, and their response was extremely positive. I sincerely hope such sessions continue so that students, teachers, and parents can all benefit. On behalf of our school, I express our gratitude.”
At Central Provincial School, teacher Sushma Kanade noted,
“The Falun Dafa meditation session was very enriching, helping students understand how mental and intellectual peace can be achieved.”
A teacher from Little Rose Convent found the session “wonderful,” saying,
“These gentle yet powerful exercises helped calm the mind, reduce stress, and enhance focus. Students felt peaceful, relaxed, and energized afterward.”
Leena Thakre, supervisor at Gayatri High School and Junior College, added,
“It was very beneficial for the students, and even the teachers experienced a sense of peace. We hope practitioners will visit again and guide the students further.”
Discovering inner calm and strength
Students enthusiastically shared how Falun Dafa helped them feel relaxed, peaceful, and full of positive energy.
Shreyas Tiwari, an 8th grader, said,
“My whole body felt light, and the blood seemed to flow freely. Falun Dafa is truly amazing—it refreshes both the body and the mind.”
Dimple Wankhede, from New English High School, said,
“Falun Dafa, based on Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, gave me a beautiful feeling of calmness. I felt a wave of positive energy and inner strength—it was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had.”
Vishwajeet Sawai, a 12th grader at New English School and Junior College, remarked,
“The exercises made me feel balanced, focused, and full of vitality. Every student should experience this—it strengthens not only the body but also the heart.”
Younger students, like Shilpa Panjhad from Saraswati Convent, were also touched by learning about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
“When I learned how practitioners in China are treated unfairly, I felt sad and wanted to stand for what’s right,” she said. “Falun Dafa teaches us to stay kind and strong, no matter what happens.”
Schools express gratitude
Several schools expressed deep appreciation for the practitioners’ visits, recognizing the sessions’ lasting benefits. Two schools—New English High School and Junior College and Pratibha Higher Primary and Secondary School—presented Certificates of Appreciation to the Falun Dafa practitioners.
The certificate from New English High School and Junior College praised the session for bringing “mental clarity, inner calm, and physical well-being,” while Pratibha School described it as “highly beneficial, comfortable, and healthful.”
Both schools thanked the practitioners for their “enlightening and valuable contribution,” and expressed hopes that such sessions would continue to bring peace and positivity to more students in the future.
As India’s festival season celebrates renewal and joy, thousands of young hearts and minds in central India found a new source of peace and balance through Falun Dafa. Teachers, students, and administrators alike expressed hope that these gentle exercises—and their universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—would continue to inspire future generations across India.
